B2B Marketing Automation Manager

Job description

We are a fast-growing, mission-driven financial services company that provides quality financial services for all: from protecting grandma’s money from scammers to providing supplemental financial tools that support people living with disabilities. We are looking for an experienced B2B Marketing Manager to play an essential role in our sales and marketing efforts.

This role will encompass both marketing strategy development as well as marketing execution. You will be a key member of the marketing team with direct responsibility for activities that will drive sales and support wider company goals. If you have been looking for a role where you can make a huge impact building the B2B marketing engine from the ground up, then this might be the perfect place for you. This is a high-impact marketing role for someone who is passionate about our mission and relishes the fact that every day we have the privilege of serving those who are often overlooked by big financial institutions.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as a main marketing point of contact for the sales team, designing and executing programs to drive leads and influence the sales pipeline
  • Work closely with marketing and sales to optimize our marketing automation solution to reach target segments and nurture leads towards conversion
  • When needed, play a key role in selecting and managing the integration of additional software tools for Salesforce, such as data analysis, automated offline campaigns,  and other marketing tools
  • Develop multiple trigger/drip campaigns from start to finish, including drafting the copy, deploying the campaign, running the analysis, and iterating based on results
  • Regularly evaluate campaign and asset performance
  • Work with our designer and editor to generate sales collateral based on campaign content, findings, and performance for specific target audiences
  • Ensure all B2B marketing efforts, such as in-person events, are being tracked correctly in Salesforce, marketing automation software, and other analytics tools
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our B2B target audiences
  • Ensure leads are moving through the marketing automation solution and Salesforce
  • Provide monthly analytics review of campaign efforts and report progress against agreed-upon marketing KPIs; recommend optimizations as necessary to ensure goals are met
  • Proactively seek new ways to improve campaign response rates and other key metrics

Who you are and your professional experience:

  • 5+ years of using Salesforce with a marketing automation platform like Pardot, Marketo, or HubSpot
  • 5+ years experience running B2B marketing campaigns, including but not limited to automation, A/B testing, nurture, determining triggers and events, and thorough analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of all of the data that lives inside Salesforce and how to leverage it for different campaigns
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing best practices and experience developing B2B campaign content
  • Someone who is motivated and excited about having a direct impact on increasing sales and revenue
  • Systems and process-thinker who loves creating order out of chaos
  • An extreme executer, you aren’t afraid of diving in, whether it’s drafting copy, finding the right images, working with engineering to create campaign triggers, or pulling reports - you can do it all! (You’re also excited to learn how to do it better.)
  • A strategic thinker who is constantly thinking about ways to improve processes and results
  • Fast learner who is able to quickly get smart about a new context, industry, or set of requirements
  • Interested in learning from feedback and dedicated to improving your skills
  • You know what you don’t know - if something isn’t your forte, you aren’t afraid to ask for help

Why you’ll love us:

  • We’ve got the energy and passion of a startup combined with the professionalism of a financial services firm and the compassion of mission-driven organization that truly cares about the people we serve.
  • We offer competitive salary packages, Health, Dental & Vision coverage, flexible working hours, early-stage equity, and an awesome vacation package.
