Executive Assistant to Co-founder COO

Job description

Traditional banking products aren’t safe for seniors with memory loss, and, for people recovering from addiction and for adults with special needs, “ordinary banking products” just do not exist. At True Link, we provide best-in-class financial services and customer support to communities who are neglected by the financial services industry.

We are committed to increasing the quality of life and financial well-being of individuals in these underserved communities. To do that, we offer payment cards, investment management, and other financial services that provide increased financial security without sacrificing our customers’ dignity or independence.

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support our busy Co-Founder/COO, whose scope includes product, engineering, sales, marketing, support, and operations. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about our mission and relishes the fact that every day we have the privilege of serving those who are often overlooked by large financial institutions. We are a kind culture that values learning and growth, providing resources and support to achieve goals.

The ideal candidate will have administrative experience in a fast-paced environment, possessing the ability to stay several steps ahead of an already organized executive.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently and proactively provide high-quality support
  • Stay current on all activities/commitments of the COO, anticipating needs and assisting accordingly
  • Maintain COO’s demanding and often changing calendar to generate maximum use of COO’s time, including travel arrangements and internal/external meetings
  • Ensure COO is up-to-date on critical issues for the day
  • Act as a liaison, solution-oriented problem solver, and prioritizer as the first point of contact for requests made of the COO
  • Manage special projects
  • Participate in planning company events and retreats
  • Light personal support

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced administrative role
  • Ability to work under pressure demonstrating a calm ability to meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs and propose/execute solutions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with team members at all levels
  • Off-the-charts, high level attention to detail; derives real joy from staying organized and on top of details
  • Comfortable and experienced in managing multiple tasks and projects independently with minimal supervision
  • A strong work ethic: “No task is too big or small”
  • A quick learner who is hungry to absorb new challenges
  • A professional, flexible, and approachable demeanor
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Suite and comfortable learning new technology
  • Able to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Good judgment, with an ability to make timely and sound decisions

Why you'll love us:

  • We’ve got the energy and passion of a startup, combined with the professionalism of a financial services firm, and the compassion of a mission-driven organization that truly cares about the people we serve.
  • We offer competitive salary packages, health, dental, and vision coverage (including contributions to dependents’ coverage), flexible working hours, early-stage equity, and an awesome vacation package.
  • Our customers are not only grateful but are the absolute best. We have the privilege of providing financial protection for vulnerable members of society and partnering with expert service providers to do so. Our customers and partners love us and we love them back. You can sleep soundly every night knowing you are doing a really wonderful thing by getting our services into more hands.
  • We treat each other like we treat our customers: with 100% respect and dignity. Diversity and inclusion are cultural values we take very seriously, and we welcome team members of all backgrounds and identities.
  • We offer catered lunch.
  • Our office is dog friendly and full of friendly, caring people – and snacks.
