Senior Manager – Growth & Marketing Operations

Job description

Traditional banking products aren’t safe for seniors with memory loss, and, for people recovering from addiction and for adults with special needs, “ordinary banking products” just do not exist. At True Link, we provide best-in-class financial services and customer support to communities who are neglected by the financial services industry.

We are committed to increasing the quality of life and financial well-being of individuals in these underserved communities. To do that, we offer payment cards, investment management, and other financial services that provide increased financial security without sacrificing our customers’ dignity or independence.

We’re a mission-driven team of people with the highest standards, and we are looking for a phenomenal marketer to help us grow.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan, prioritize, and execute strategic growth initiatives across the True Link world
  • Own core marketing and sales growth KPIs, such as how marketing is positively impacting the number of new cards in use by our customers
  • Manage growth marketer(s) to do the same
  • Devise and execute both direct and influencer marketing programs across 10+ different influencer types
  • Project manage the delivery of marketing programs and cross-functional projects
  • Partner with the sales team to ensure priorities are aligned, and that the sales team has all they need to prospect and follow up with leads effectively
  • Manage a marketing operations function that executes efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure we have the tools, data and processes, to effectively segment and target our myriad types of customers and influencers.
  • Provide objective analysis that enables our marketing team to make informed decisions and achieve growth
  • Drive operational improvements allowing us to scale and continually optimize for greater ROI
  • Relentlessly prioritize the strategies and projects that will have the greatest impact on our customers and our business

Who you are:

  • You are a strategic thinker yet have a bias for action. You get things done.
  • You have strong quantitative and analytical skills. You love data and are good at driving cross-platform learnings & efficiencies
  • You love a challenge. You’ll always find a way to find a way, and you know when to ask for help.
  • You are a great manager and mentor. You know how to prioritize for yourself and others, and you can manage the most complex of projects.
  • You’re an influencer: you know how to draw attention to a challenge and its impact, as well as to present thoughtful ideas and get others on board. You collaborate better than almost anyone else you know.
  • You are empathetic. As you learn about our customers you’ll care as much as we do about helping the people we help and you will learn to speak their language.
  • You are comfortable in a workplace that combines the start-up environment you’d expect with a federally-regulated financial services company. Every word we say matters.
  • You have a very real passion for learning. True Link has many nuances you’ll need to learn, and they take time to understand. It’s worth the effort, we promise – but this isn’t a plug-and-play position.
  • You can write and edit great copy. How would you improve this post, for example?
  • You are kind and compassionate to all around you.

Must have:

  • 5+ years' marketing experience
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience managing a team
  • Strong understanding of growth marketing – you know how to design, execute, and analyze

Desirable:

  • Pardot and SalesLoft experience
  • Experience in influencer, lifecycle, and digital marketing
  • Experience in the recovery and addiction space
  • Salesforce.com and marketing automation experience – you know and love dashboards, lead scoring, and the like

Why you’ll love us:

  • We’ve got the energy and passion of a startup, combined with the professionalism of a financial services firm and the compassion of mission-driven organization that truly cares about the people we serve.
  • We offer competitive salary packages, health, dental, and vision coverage (including contributions to dependents’ coverage), flexible working hours, early-stage equity, and an awesome vacation package.
  • Our customers are not only grateful but are the absolute best. We have the privilege of providing financial protection for vulnerable members of society and partnering with expert service providers to do so. Our customers and partners love us and we love them back. You can sleep soundly every night knowing you are doing a really wonderful thing by getting our services into more hands.
  • We treat each other like we treat our customers: with 100% respect and dignity. Diversity and inclusion are cultural values we take very seriously, and we welcome team members of all backgrounds and identities.
  • We offer catered lunch.
  • Our office is dog friendly and full of friendly, caring people – and snacks.
