(Senior) Marketing Manager – Website & Lifecycle

Job description

Traditional banking products aren’t safe for seniors with memory loss, and, for people recovering from addiction and adults with special needs, “ordinary banking products” just do not exist. At True Link, we provide best-in-class financial services and customer support to communities who are neglected by the financial services industry.

We are committed to increasing the quality of life and financial well-being of individuals in these underserved communities. To do that, we offer payment cards, investment management, and other financial services that provide increased financial security without sacrificing our customers’ dignity or independence.

We’re a mission-driven team of people with the highest standards, and we are looking for a phenomenal marketer to help us grow.

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze our key lifecycle moments on the path to revenue (for example: lead >> prospect >> sign up >> card ordering >> activation >> card funding >> regular use >> renewal) and spot inflection points where we have an opportunity to increase conversion
  • Work with the sales, product, and marketing teams to understand business priorities and prioritize programs and features that will increase the number of customers, usage, referrals, and other business outcomes
  • Own KPIs such as conversion rates to revenue-generating cards and customer lifetime value, and eventually develop growth loops that produce a quantitative growth model

  • Own the user experience of True Link’s corporate sites for prospects and customers
  • Spearhead the strategic direction, development, and optimization of this marketing channel to drive measurable business impact
  • Ensure True Link sites speak directly to our customers, reflect our brand values – and build user journeys that drive growth
  • Manage our SEO strategy and ensure those that need us, or their loved ones, find us, learn how we can help, and refer us or become customers
  • Project manage the creation of brand new sites and micro sites as necessary, working with third parties and internal teams to do so
  • Ensure that our sites are instrumented for us to be able to track key data and understand what is driving traffic and conversions
  • Recommend KPIs that will best define success, including engagement, conversion, and reputation

Who you are:

  • You can manage the most complex of projects, and you relentlessly prioritize
  • You are a strategic thinker yet have a bias for action. You get things done when you say that you will
  • You are an influencer; you know how to draw attention to a challenge and its impact, as well as to present thoughtful ideas and get others on board
  • You are empathetic. As you learn about our expert types you’ll care as much as we do about helping the people we help and you will learn to speak their language
  • You are comfortable in a workplace that combines both the start-up environment you’d expect and a federally regulated financial services company
  • You have a very real passion for learning. True Link has many, many nuances you’ll need to learn and it takes time to understand. It’s worth the effort we promise but this isn’t a plug and play position
  • You have strong quantitative and analytical skills. You love data and are good at driving cross-platform learnings & efficiencies

Must Have:

  • 5+ years in marketing, with 3+ managing websites
  • You know your way around Salesforce.com
  • Experience with analytics tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, and Google Analytics
  • You have experience with website tools like Drip and managing CMSs like WordPress and Webflow

  • Product marketing, content, and/or product management experience
  • Growth experience

Why you’ll love us:

  • We’ve got the energy and passion of a startup, combined with the professionalism of a financial services firm and the compassion of mission-driven organization that truly cares about the people we serve.
  • We offer competitive salary packages, health, dental, and vision coverage (including contributions to dependents’ coverage), flexible working hours, early-stage equity, and an awesome vacation package.
  • Our customers are not only grateful but are the absolute best. We have the privilege of providing financial protection for vulnerable members of society and partnering with expert service providers to do so. Our customers and partners love us and we love them back. You can sleep soundly every night knowing you are doing a really wonderful thing by getting our services into more hands.
  • We treat each other like we treat our customers: with 100% respect and dignity. Diversity and inclusion are cultural values we take very seriously, and we welcome team members of all backgrounds and identities.
  • We offer catered lunch.
  • Our office is dog friendly and full of friendly, caring people – and snacks.
